What do Burkina Faso, the Vatican, and Afghanistan have in common?

None of them, along with 95 other countries have McDonalds.

In fact only three countries in Africa - the three wealthiest - have the Golden Arches.

Blessed are the poor, for they shall not have a Big Mac.

There's definitely a market available. I lived near one in Cape Town, South Africa, and the place was packed from the second they opened their doors. At night, they often had to start turning people away. And I know SA's economy is much better off than the rest of the continent, but it wasn't just the middle and upper classes that went there.
