Travels with my Wife
Lynne and I had an excellent time in Burkina Faso - it was extremely busy, but remarkably worthwhile.

We were very grateful to have our "new" truck available (above), bought with the help of generous friends in the UK from other good friends in Burkina, who sadly were leaving the country. Thank you! Thanks also to Chuck, (with whom we did well-drilling last year), who made sure the truck was waiting for us in Ouaga. The roads in northern Burkina have been greatly improved, so we were able to get around without problem, and packed in a very full schedule:
Gorom-Gorom School:
It was great to see the new class of kids at the school, and they are doing really well, together with their new teacher Prospere. Building for the school is also going ahead, which was great to see.
Church Partnerships and Ongoing Ministry:
We spent most of our time sitting and talking with the local pastor-missionaries working in Oudalan about all the exciting stuff that is happening. Catching up with their progress, vision, and needs has given us a lot of fuel for working on how we can work with partnering churches to support the ministry in the province.
Ministry Centre House and Office:
The foundations for the house and office are being built, and the plan is for this to be finished before the end of May.
I will post more details and photos about all these soon, but just wanted to say thank you for your prayers.
After a week travelling to and around and back from Burkina without problem, we then got held up for several hours between France and the UK, with our bags also going astray - just to turn up today. We are back in Scotland, where Lynne preached yesterday, and head down to Wales later this week.
