Lost in Translation
We just had a great time with Peter and Rachel and the guys at the Eglise Evangelique Protestante de St Etienne, where we had a busy weekend speaking at three meetings.
Once more, Lynne's French came through with flying colours. Unfortunately however, I made a slightly embarrassing mistake, when trying to encourage people to think of their neighbours struggling with loneliness and isolation. Instead, I encouraged them to think of those "avec des problemes d'isolation", who apparently are those with problems of insulation. Who I am sure are also in great need...
We are now on holiday for two weeks, trying to avoid work and computers, although there are a couple of urgent situations in Burkina that still need our attention, so we will be forced to go online every few days to make sure all is okay. In particular, please pray for Pastor Jean who is in Ouaga to have health tests, and for Seydou, whose sister has just passed away. Thank you.
