Burkina Faso Wedding Video
Here is our Gorom-Gorom wedding video, Burkina Faso, Sep 12 2009.
Following our original wedding in Scotland, we had another one in Gorom-Gorom, to celebrate with our family and friends there.
Many of our close friends were involved: Seydou was my best man. Grace was Lynne's bridesmaid. Pastor Pascal preached. Pastor Adama married us. Pastor Pierre translated into Fulfulde. These guys are our close friends and co-workers, real men and women of God. It was such a joy to have them share in that day with us.
It was all arranged very much at the last minute, since there was so much else going on with the soccer school and everything else. Nevertheless, all the pastors from the province were there to pray for us, and people came from around the country to join us. Sadly, many of our Muslim friends could not join us as they had prayers and commitments for the month of Ramadan - the Islamic month of fasting. But there was still a good crowd for the wedding and the feast afterwards.
So here it is - but, just to warn you - they married us, using our Fulani names: Adama (Adam) Diallo and Hawwa (Eve) Diallo... Enjoy!

Keith and Lynne's Future
Keith and Lynne plan to continue to develop the ministry in Burkina Faso, where
Keith has been working for 20 years.
Their work will involve travelling between Burkina Faso and the UK, as they also build up the Acacia Partnership Trust (the charity Keith set up to facilitate his work in Burkina Faso - see below).
They don't yet have a date for moving out to Burkina Faso. Immediately after the wedding and honeymoon, they will be based in the UK for a few months, though travelling out to Burkina Faso for a while in September to begin to set up home in Gorom-Gorom, and to oversee a "Soccer School" the church there will be running with support from churches in the UK
They will then spend time in France for Lynne to improve her French, which will be necessary for her life in Burkina Faso. During this time, they will maintain contact with the work in Burkina Faso, and may be travelling out there occasionally.

These are some of the accomplishments of local churches in northern Burkina Faso with help from Keith and the Acacia Partnership Trust
The Acacia Partnership Trust (APT) was established by Keith to facilitate his work in Burkina Faso, one of the poorest countries in the world. We partner churches in the north of Burkina Faso with others in the UK, Europe, and the US, as a means of bringing God's transforming grace to their communities.
APT exists to serve church-centred sustainable community development and transformation. We take a distinctly Christian holistic approach, believing that the message of Christ touches the whole person, responding not only to the spiritual needs of people, but also transforming the physical and social conditions of individuals and communities.
You can read more about our work in Burkina Faso at the APT website: www.acaciapartnershiptrust.org.uk
The Acacia Partnership Trust is a registered UK charity (no. 1126683)
