UN Human Development Report

Burkina Faso has come third in the UN´s recent quality of life report.

At the least livable end of things, that is.

The criteria for calculating rankings included life expectancy, educational attainment, and adjusted real income.

The bottom four countries on the list are all in West Africa. See the full table here.

Here´s a question for Christians, then: what do you think Jesus actually meant when he said, ´Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven´ (Luke 6:20)?
