The boys are still in town
Last year I wrote a piece for Nthposition titled Garibous of God. I also mentioned them in one of my letters home - How to tell a garibou from a caribou. Well, there are still hundreds of garibous in Djibo. A few of them came over this afternoon. We sang some worship songs in Fulfulde and read the Matthew 19 story about Jesus welcoming the children. Garibous are so used to getting 'chased away' that this story meant a lot to them. Please pray for them - garibous are among the most vulnerable people in Djibo - malnourished and starved of love as well.
